Museum of Art’s Solstice 2016 – 6/25 8 PM – 1 AM
This event started in 2009 when the The Cleveland Museum of Art opened the East Wing of the museum. This festival was so popular it now occurs every summer in late June and it quickly sells out. Festival-goers can enjoy music and art late into the night by exploring museum galleries and listening to bands from around the world. By now, over 100 different bands have performed at this festival. Tickets are required and discounts are offer to CMA members so keep your eyes peeled for these in early May.
The Cleveland Flea – Saturdays 9AM – 4PM
Explore the handmade side of Cleveland this summer at the Flea. Enjoy hand crafted cocktails with palette pleasing eats while you browse a selection of unique items. The Flea happens on most Saturdays on Superior Avenue. This even is “more than a market,” where you can explore vintage goodies, culinary treats, and handmade goods.
Edgewater Live – Thursdays 5:30 – 8:30 PM
Party on the beach with live music, great food, delicious cocktails, and beer. If you’re looking for something to do on a Thursday during happy hour, this event has it all from great views to good vibes.
Burning River Festival – 8/26 – 8/26 6-11 PM
Like beer? Look no further. The Burning River Festival is put on by Cleveland’s best known brewery, Great Lakes Brewing Co. This festival pays homage to the burning of the Cuyahoga River with live bands, local brews, and freshly made foods. You can get in for free if you volunteer and parking is free at Edgewater Park, with continuous shuttles taking guests to Whiskey Island.
Ingenuity Fest – TBA (tentatively 9/23-9/25)
Ingenuity Fest combines the beauty of art, music, technology, and science during this weekend event open to the public. Applications are currently open if you want to submit an idea or project, volunteer or sponsor the event.
